By
purchasing from Exotic Bathrooms, you agree to the following
Policies, Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not
purchase:
We normally ship DHL for products up
to 70lbs and certain size constraints. For larger items or for
multiple item orders, we ship via FedEx Freight.
For products weighing over 70lbs your
order will normally arrive on a wooden pallet by FedEx Freight. You
will need to be present at time of delivery and have adequate
strength/assistance to help the driver to unload the products from
the back of the truck and take them inside. FedEx will call ahead
and agree delivery time. Your assistance in unloading is required to
avoid an additional lift-gate charge. Exotic Bathrooms pre-pays
FedEx Freight shipping based on the conditions above. If you are
unwilling or unable to comply with these requirements, you may elect
to pay FedEx Freight an additional fee for lift-gate delivery, at
your own expense. You MUST inspect all boxes for external
damage, remove the packaging and inspect the contents for any
physical damage in the presence of the delivery driver. If there is
any damage, visible or not, you must indicate such on the delivery
receipt. If a product is damaged to the point that it cannot be used
- do not accept delivery. We will ship you a replacement in-stock
product at no charge, once the returned order is received, inspected
at our warehouse and a determination of the damage is made.
For deliveries by DHL,
you are required to sign for the delivery, so a suitable
representative must be available to accept the delivery and MUST
inspect all boxes for external damage, remove the packaging and
inspect the contents for any physical damage in the presence of the
delivery driver. If there is any damage, visible or not, you must
indicate such on the delivery receipt. If a product is damaged to
the point that it cannot be used - do not accept delivery. We
will ship you a replacement in-stock product at no charge, once the
returned order is received, inspected at our warehouse and a
determination of the damage is made.
When a Free Shipping promotion is in
effect, this includes standard ground or USPS, residential delivery
to the Upper 48 United States only.
Exotic Bathrooms pre-paid, FIXED
PRICE SHIPPING DOES NOT INCLUDE - special delivery
circumstances, limited access delivery, construction site delivery,
additional driver time/assistance in unloading, inside delivery, or
any other unusual or customer requested delivery service. Any
additional delivery fees will be charged to the customer. We reserve
the right to add additional charges for areas where the shipping
carrier adds additional charges, but you will be notified before
your order is processed to accept or deny these charges. In
addition, deliveries to New York city, some surrounding areas, and
other specialty delivery locations (from a carrier perspective) may
incur an additional shipping surcharge above the quoted shipping
prices on this website, due to additional charges imposed on us by
the carrier.
Exotic Bathrooms cannot accept
responsibility for any damaged product once you or your
representatives sign for a delivery as being in good condition, but
we will assist you to resolve any claim directly with the carrier,
where possible. Replacement products cannot be shipped under these
circumstances until the carrier has determined the outcome of any
claim.
Damaged Items
If your order is damaged when it is
delivered to you, Exotic Bathrooms will only be responsible for
product(s) you purchased from Exotic Bathrooms (based on limitations
herein), and not responsible for additional charges or losses
incurred during installation or use, which include but are not
limited to:
1. Installation fees due to
rescheduling, shipping delays, extended time or any other
circumstance beyond our control. (We recommend not scheduling
installation until the product is in your possession.)
2. Contractors or other parties
damaging the product during movement or installation, after
signing for the goods with shipping carrier.
3. Faulty products purchased from a
vendor other than Exotic Bathrooms causing damage to our product.
4. Replacement parts purchased from
a vendor other than Exotic Bathrooms.
5. Damages to any personal property
and/or our or other products during installation.
6. Labor charges of any kind,
including installation or de-installation of product
Order Cancellation Policy
Please plan and research your order
carefully prior to order placement or payment. In order to maintain
high quality merchandise at discount pricing, and because orders are
placed on your behalf with foreign manufacturers, we are unable to
allow any refunds, exchanges or order cancellation after a period of
48 hours from the initial order receipt. Any orders cancelled within
48 hours of initial order placement will be subject to a 5% fee to
cover credit card processing and administrative costs. All orders
are 'Special Orders' and are subject to all regulations and policies
of your credit card provider that govern 'Special Orders'.
Returns Policy
We guarantee your satisfaction with
all merchandise purchased from Exotic Bathrooms. Our multi-step
inspection process ensures that your product was free from defects
or damage when shipped from our warehouse. If youre not satisfied
with our products for any reason, you must return the undamaged
products within 30 days, at your expense, with a copy of your
receipt, for a merchandise exchange, credit, or a refund of the
product purchase price (less our shipping costs, and a 20%
restocking fee). The returned merchandise must be returned in its
full original undamaged packaging (as shipped to you) and in the
original condition it was received. If you receive a damaged item,
you must note this on the delivery receipt, or not accept delivery
in order to receive insurance cover. Return shipping costs are at
our expense if you refused delivery because the products were
damaged beyond use during shipping, or you noted damage on the
shipping documents.
NO RETURNS or EXCHANGES AFTER 30
DAYS!
General Guidelines:
No products will be accepted for
return more than 30 days after date of purchase. No exceptions.
Manufacturers will not accept returns past this date
Special order items cannot be
returned once they have been shipped
We are not able to accept returns
on damaged merchandise that was not inspected by the customer at
the time of original delivery, and damages noted on the delivery
receipt with shipping carrier.
Please note that we are only able
to process returns and refunds for items purchased from Exotic
Bathrooms.
* Customers who order product with
the intent to evaluate in their own home/office then return
unwanted items, will be charged the original outbound shipping
costs (if free shipping promo is in effect), in addition to a 20%
restocking fee, and must meet all requirements for Returns before
any credit will be issued against the original purchase.
Any discontinued items, designs
or colors are non-refundable and not returnable.
Products returned as defective
which are found not to be defective are subject to a 20% handling
& restocking charge, plus outbound and inbound shipping costs
billed to Exotic Bathrooms.
If a customer sends back a
non-returnable item, no credit will be issued for the return of
the product. The customer will be responsible for shipping charges
back to our warehouse.
FedEx/DHL pick-ups for defective
products will only be issued if exchanging for the same product or
if an order was shipped incorrectly by Exotic Bathrooms. If an
incorrect item was ordered by the customer, the customer is
responsible for sending the product back to our warehouse at their
cost, plus original shipping costs and restocking rules apply.
*** Customer must pay for insured
shipping for any returned items, and insure the item to the full
replacement value. Items damaged during return shipping by
customers will not be accepted by Exotic Bathrooms, and the
customer is responsible for recovering shipping insurance directly
from their carrier, in lieu of any credit/refund from Exotic
Bathrooms for the returned item(s).
Why a 20% restocking fee?:
Packaging that is defaced with
writing, markers or tape.
Products that have missing parts,
instructions or packaging.
Torn or ripped manufacturer
boxes.
Shrink wrap or other internal
packaging on products that is missing or torn.
Scratched or damaged merchandise.
Merchandise that has been used or
shows signs of installation.
Warehouse & administrative costs
associated with processing a return.
Obtaining a Return Authorization
Number (RAN):
To return any product you must obtain
a RAN # (Return Authorization Number #). To obtain an RAN # and
return instructions, please contact us by email or phone (details on
Contact page). Requests for returns are generally processed within
1-3 days and you will receive return instructions along with your
RAN #.
Refunds:
You can expect a refund in the same
form of payment, to the same account originally used for purchase.
All returns and exchanges will be credited less restocking and
shipping costs. You must contact us and provide your original
payment details before a refund can be processed, as our website
does not store credit card or other payment details.
Wrong Product Received?:
If you are shipped a different
product than what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of
receiving the incorrect product. We will provide a RAN# and
instructions on how and where to ship it back. We will pay for the
shipping charge back to our warehouse and ship the correct product
free of charge, as long as the original product and packaging is not
damaged.
Product Representations
Due to the photographic
reproduction process, all images of products on our website are
approximate representations of the product you will receive.
Variations in lighting and other factors will determine the color an
appearance of a product once installed. Exotic Bathrooms is not
responsible for discrepancies in appearance of our products in your
own environment .
